These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of this website (the “Site”) and your participation in GGATHER, a community gaming club that runs weekly game nights. By using the Site or reserving a place at a game night, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
The club and the Site
GGATHER is a members-run community club for playing video games together on PC and console. The Site provides information about our nights, the season points league, and a form to reserve a seat. Nights, times, and details may change, and we may update or withdraw parts of the Site at any time.
Reservations and attendance
- An RSVP is a request to hold a seat for a chosen night; places are limited and offered on a first-come basis.
- Please give accurate details so a host can prepare a station for you.
- If your plans change, let a host know so the seat can go to someone else.
- Any door rate for a night is payable when you attend, as shown on the Site.
Entertainment only
The season points league and standings are for fun and community bragging rights. Points are awarded on skill and time played only, never on money staked or paid. There are no cash prizes, wagers, or games of chance for money. Entertainment only — not a gambling venue.
Community conduct
When you take part, you agree to:
- treat hosts, members, and newcomers with respect;
- share equipment fairly and follow reasonable directions from hosts;
- look after the venue, the gear, and each other;
- avoid harassment, cheating, or disruptive behaviour.
Hosts may ask anyone who breaks these standards to leave a night.
Acceptable use of the Site
You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to disrupt it, access it without authorisation, submit false or automated form entries, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
Intellectual property
The GGATHER name, the content, and the design of this Site are protected and may not be copied or reused without permission, except as allowed by law. Game titles and brands mentioned belong to their respective owners.
Disclaimers
The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will always be available, accurate, or error-free. Taking part in club activities is at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GGATHER and its volunteer hosts are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or attendance at a night.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
